Q. How often should I shampoo my hair?

A. Everyone has individual requirements and at the end of the day frequency of hair washing is a very personal choice.

It can depend on your hair type, your skin, any sensitivity you may have and something as simple as how much time you have!

We recommend the following for each of our shampoos.

Chamomile Shampoo; we recommend at least 3 times a week. Used frequently the Chamomile oil will help the scalp to remain calm, combating irritation, breakouts and flakiness.

Orange and Lemon Shampoo for oily scalps; we recommend shampooing every second day for the first 2 weeks to, decreasing to every third day for the following 6 weeks.

Eventually, as some clients have happily experienced, it is only necessary to shampoo twice a week!

Rosemary & Wheatgerm Shampoo; can be used as little or as often as your require.

Although we recommend shampooing 3 times a week to allow for the of Rosemary oil to stimulate and improve hair structure and growth.

Grapefruit and JoJoba; can be used as often as every day.

This shampoo is an ideal all round shampoo for all the family.

Sporty types and swimmers can shampoo their hair everyday reassured that their hair not only feels soft but that their hair has a fresh aroma of grapefruit and almonds.

A. All Shuka conditioners contain the highest quality certified organic essential oils.

Q. What Shuka product should I use for eczema or an itchy flaky scalp?

A. My daughter used to suffer from eczema but not anymore, that's since I have been washing her literally from head to toe in Chamomile Shampoo.

Not only does she smell lovely, her hair and skin look sooo healthy too!

(Top Tip: use chamomile conditioner directly onto eczema breakouts and watch it clear up)

Q. Do you produce a hairspray that will hold the style and yet allow movement?

A. The Which hazel hairspray can be used on damp hair for scrunching or forming more distinct curls.

Alternatively, when sprayed on styled hair it will give a medium hold allowing movement.

This hairspray DOES NOT stick, you can spray it into your hands, rub it in and your hands will still feel soft, not sticky! .....water soluble, no build-up!!
