About us


Shuka began in 1995 in a small professional salon in East Yorkshire.


Our original team developed two shampoos and one conditioner. Our aim was to produce a professional natural organic product that could tackle hair or scalp problems, without the use of harmful chemicals.


We gradually expanded the range, each product taking on average a year to perfect.


Products began to walk off the shelves as clients could not resist the unique and unusual addictive aromas.


Fifteen years later we have 14 products including; shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments and a styling range.


Our recipes combine a unique blend of ingredients with no SLS or Parabens and with essentials oils certified through the soil association.


Shuka is now ready to meet any hair care needs clients may have.


We provide exclusive distribution through discerning professional salons in the Yorkshire area.


All salons that stock Shuka have received thorough product training and are equipped with the essential knowledge and understanding to help clients receive the benefits and results for individual requirements.
